Hi all,
I don’t know if many of you still check in here occasionally. If you do, I’m very sorry that we podfaded on you.

Everyday life stuff just got in the way, new job, family stuff, y’know how it is.

Tea and Chat is officially dead I’m afraid. I just don’t have the time at the moment and probably wont for a while. I’m thinking of maybe starting up something new later on this year, and maybe podcasting the novel I wrote last Nanowrimo.

Anyway, just wanted to say thank you to all the listeners and guests of my little podcast. It was a good year and I have so many fond memories.

Thanks guys, it’s been a blast!

In short, we go on Hiatus.

I’ve decided to put Tea and Chat on hold for the moment whilst I decide where to go with the podcast. There are many things that I like about the show and things that I want to keep doing but I’m also interested in exploring new directions and possibilities. I’m hoping this will be a short hiatus and I don’t plan on pod-fading on you.

I still want to podcast and edit Shattered Empire and perhaps the two shows will merge into an entertaining hybrid. On the interview side of things, I still want to do that. I must admit though, that the physical time needed to become familiar with a podcaster’s work means that the time between interviews will probably increase.

When will the show be back? Soon, I hope.
What will it be like when it does return? I’ve no idea yet but I’m looking forward to finding out.

Until then, thank you all very much for accompanying me on this roller coaster, it’s been a pleasure.

Recommendation:
The Man From Earth

Ok, so as most of you might know. On Friday night, a building nextdoor to my apartment building caught fire. As a result, we were all evacuated out of our apartments and were only allowed back in this morning at 10. Everything is fine, the apartment didnt get damaged and nobody got hurt. The building that caught fire (a clothes store) and the building beside it, as well as the warehouses at the back, were burnt to a crisp. They are still smoking now and are being torn down. Thanks to all of you who checked in to see that I was ok.

However, being up for 30 hours straight has worn me down a tad. I also have no net connection at home now. If it’s okay with you all I’d like to take this weekend off so that I can sort everything out. I will have an episode of T&C up next week, no matter what. I promise. I’ll also post some photos and videos of the fire if anyone is interested.

Also, I did manage to get the novel finished in the end. I originally planned to have it done by friday at midnight but ended up writing the last few words on my EeePc at 5am in the train station (only place open with net access). Still it’s all done now. It’s not a great story but I’m pleased that I managed to make it to the end
